As we manage the return to playing cricket and organising training sessions for our colts age groups and senior sides, we want to make sure everyone is aware of the schedule so that any extra curricular use of the nets can be planned accordingly:

* Please note that on a number of Monday evenings there will be a game on the main square which on occasions could restrict use of nets after 1800hrs.
Please also be aware that senior matches will be taking place on Saturdays from 12.30pm and most Sunday afternoons. Check the fixtures on the website to confirm.
Outside of these times the nets can be used by members, but only if booked via the booking system. Check the nets calendar on the website and email netbooking@chenies-cricket.org to make your booking.
N.B. To comply with ECB guidelines only 1 net will be able to be used at a time outside of official sessions, and the 'rule of 6' will apply.
Please observe the following when using the nets:
- Do not use the nets if you have COVID-19 symptoms. If you have symptoms or are living in a household with a possible COVID-19 infection or if you are classified as extremely vulnerable on health grounds, you should remain at home and follow Government guidance.
- Social distancing must be observed at all times. This includes when arriving and leaving the ground and while transitioning between groups in the nets.
- Net sessions must be booked in advance.
- Each bowler to use their own ball and the batsman is not to pick it up to throw back to the bowler. Balls will not be supplied by the club.
- No sharing of any equipment. Own equipment to be used as the club cannot make any club owned equipment available
- If the groundsmen are at the ground, please put bags etc on the far side of the nets so that you do not impede their access to the shed and containers
- One of the messages from Boris is that we should use our common sense to determine what we should or should not be doing, so please do use your common sense when using the nets and behave responsibly.
- Children under 15 years old must be supervised by an adult at all times when using the nets.
